We are having many new members just basically coming on EOS to advertise their companies & services by posting links in their initial post then we often don't see them posting further.
Some time ago I saw another forum where the site owner refused to allow new members to post links to anything for their first 5 posts which prevented this & ensured they had joined for the right reason, to seek advice, to help others if they had information & join in with the chatter that goes on within every forum I know.
With the NEW FORUM RULES Justin has made it clear he doesn't want advertisers posting.
Justin, surely it's time to implement this in our forum. When I told you, many months ago, about this "feature" in another forum you told me you thought it was a great idea yet there are edited posts (edited by EOS) all over the forum these days because new members are spamming us with their details & you are editing if you see it or told about it by myself or others.
