Residential mobile homes/chalets

I'm thinking about buying a residential static caravan or chalet and movig to Spain permanently.

If anyone has any experience of doing this and any problems then I would be very please for

your comments.

Algorfa37, I'm curious why you have picked a username including a very lovely part of Valencia.

Have you holidayed there, or already own in the area?

We had a fantastic static caravan as a we holiday home in Scotland's east coast Arbroath 

We paid £22,000 for the second hand 3yr old caravan put in gas heating and a balcony along the side that cost £5,000 

But 4yrs later we were hardly using due to using our town house in Spain for a longer period so decided to sell it but we weren't allowed to sell it privately..

We had no choice but to accept the lower offer of £1,000 from the site owner.. Thing is the site fees were £170 pm on top of that the bottled gas and electric bill it wasn't cheap.. OK its detached and quiet but we would have been better buying a flat with that money as there would have been at least a return.. 

Tread with caution is my advice and never again for me.
