Hi, I am new to this forum although I have been on the website many times and have found it an excellent informative experience. Well done.

I am looking for a long term rental property in or near Torrevieja - 2/3 bedrooms - bungalow/villa or ground floor apartment.

I am making plans to come to Spain towards the end of July 2013 and would be grateful if anyone could point me in the right direction of renting either privately or through an agency?? I think I would prefer to rent through the property owner???

 Hi Tropnala

Welcome to Eye on Spain. I am sure you will be given all the advice you need. There are many people on the site who have experience with both channels Agency and direct from the owner. To be honest I think both are perfectly ok, you just need to make sure all the contracts are correct and if you decide to go direct maybe you should have a laywer check them out before signing and handing over money if you don't fully understand it.
