What is the best way to get cheaper electricity supplies?

In these days of rising costs in Spain, I would welcome the views of readers about the best choices/suppliers of electricity, I have looked into the possibility of Nightime tarrifs, but have been advised that because of the recent Government price increases the savings would not be worth the trouble of switching. Can this be right? Any advice would be welcome. Nels
