Believe it or not, as I read this, Rick Stein is on the telly with Rick Stein on Spain and he is going on about Cantabrian anchovies. He's in the factory explaining that individual anchovy is hand prepared and shaped by scissors before being canned.
Probably thats why they are so expensive, although he raves about the flavours of them.
Personally, i'm not a fishy person.
