Tax advice on moving to Spain

This is another Moving to Spain thread.

My wife and I are planning on moving to Spain next year. We already own a house near Marbella which we have been letting on holiday lets.

Basically, I am looking for advice on what we need to consider and know about in making our final decision, particularly about tax considerations, both in the UK and Spain.

Can anyone recommend  someone, preferably in London, who understands both UK and Spanish tax and can help us understand the ramifications?

If you are going to live permanently in Spain that is to say more than 183 days per annum legally you would be considered a Tax Resident in Spain and therefore no longer obliged to pay tax in England.

However,  for more detailed information of your personal situation, you would need to see a tax consultant  to advise you individually as to the best options.
