Spanish qualifications??

I am hoping to move to Spain within the next year and have children at quite crucial times in their schooling.  The oldest will leave school this time next year and wants to be a carpenter and joiner.  Is the qualification he can get in Spain the same as the 1 here in England??  So that if he doesnt like it and decides to come home will that qualification allow him to work in England??

There is so much to consider and if this first stumbling block trips me over then we cannot move for several years :-(

Welcome to Eye on Spain.

Are you talking about a qualification to be a carpenter/ joiner?  I would assume that a trade like that is pretty international....isn't it?  I wouldn't have thought you couldn't use that anywhere else.

In Spain there are quite a few unemployed carpenters at the moment so I can understand why the need to make sure the qualification is useful back in England.

You could always ask a local college near you and see what they say?
