Hi, can anybody recommend good restauarants in the area and places to go?

 There are several good restaurants in the area.

The best Indian are Ghandi on the stripe. Then you have Puchini. Very good food and good service, Italian. Dynastia is a superb Chinese restaurant on the other side of theblue bridge. Patio Andaluz is a restaurant with a Spanish atmosphare and good food just beside of the new senter. In the new senter you have Grete Garbo and a Chinese Wook. Punta prima Restaurant is also good.

Thanks, yes I'm familiar with these. I was wondering if there were any "Spanish", we don't mind travelling.

Hi Louisen, We had Tapas for lunch at Cabo Roig recently. La Bahia, in the marina. They were delicious and I would definitely go back. There is also the new refurbished bar "Ferris". Turn left at Nautilus, keep on walking through Kings land area. Up the steps and it's on the left. We only had coffee there but I noticed that they do offer tapas in the day and an evening menu too. Modern, nice atmosphere, more spanish. Apparently there is entertainment on Saturdays. Not really come across any other spanish restaurants yet. If you like Thai/chinese, The Papaya tree at Flamenca Centre is lovely. Happy hunting....

'Christophers' Restaurant in Mar Azul is superb recently been refurbished and only 5mins in car from Apartments all you do is drive towards Torrevieja and take the first slip road as though you were going to the port. Then take the first right (before traffic Lights), go left and then first right will take you down to promenade, turn right and you will then see a cul de sac park on that road walk up to top of road and Christophers is just to the right.
