Hi All,

We picked up the keys for our apartment (block 25) last week and spent 2 days there. We found that the bed was very uncomfortable. Has anyone seen any memory foam toppers or feather beds for sale in any of the shops or markets? It would be good to get something for our next trip in October when we will be there for 12 days!

Thanks Georgina

I asked about Mattress toppers when i was in a bed shop in Garrucha.  They seemed to think that the only place i cold buy them was in Madrid.  I think it might be easier to buy a new mattress.

We agree, very uncomfortable. They look like the put together type you see laid out in sports halls for emergencies!! First thing on our list is a new bed for the master bed.

Anyone find a local source plese let us know.

Try looking in the Free weekly Paper The Euro weekly newAlmeria edition (usualy in Hotels or commercial centres).  An English paper.

Advetising the Sleep centre at Albox (silent night, Sealy ect) also Macnight at Garrucha, there are others.

My friend lives in Nerja and she got them for her home and got them off QVC

I think it is cheaper to get decent mattresses

thanks Lynda

I'm sure they had the mattress toppers in Ikea in Murcia (if they sell them in the UK, they will there).

May also be worth checking downstairs in Lopez but it may have just been pillows I saw.
