car hire at Alicante airport FULL /FULL

Hi everyone,

I need to to have a moan (and a bit of TLC)  I received an email today to say that the company dealing with our NIE numbers have had a problem, they thought they had them but they didn't and we don't have time to get them for 23rd October. So we have had to cancel the October hand over. We will come over when we can and sort them out. First it was August then October and I feel very fed up with the whole situation. Davina

Who was the company cause surely they still have your paperwork and should beable to sort it out.

Our nie numbers took about two weeks so there should still be time

I don't want to say online who the company was it because they were let down by someone else. I can't just drop everything and go out there, I wish I could. The downside of teaching is you only get school holidays to arrange things. I have tried to sort out Power of attorney for the agent  but by the time the paperwork has been completed it will be too late. We now have to try and get out there and sort things out ourselves,

Sorry to hear about the delay..

You could still get the number in 3 weeks or less. We used Lawbird in Marbella (mentioned on the this site by someone earlier). Everything done online ( with the exception of calling into the local Notary).

Very fast and efficient..Saves a journey.
