DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO GET RID OF A VIRUS CALLED (TROJAN-ZLOB)...

DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANY FREE SOFTWARE THAT WOULD GET RID OF IT....

I HAVE DONE MY (NORTON ANTI VIRUS) BUT IT DID NOT CLEAR IT.....DONE AD-(AWARE) BUT NO JOY WITH THAT...

Stella and I have "AVG FREE" and I think you may be able to get this from your search engine.

I have read that this is as good as you get (including the ones you pay for)

Have you ran a live update on your Norton?

This will automatically download fixes for all new virus

Run live update then virus check your system.

THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP... BUT I HAVE TRIED ALL OF WHAT YOU HAVE ALL SAID.. BUT IT IS STILL INFECTED WITH THAT VIRUS (TROJAN-ZLOB)...  ALSO I HAVE DONE A RESTORE BUT THAT DID NOT WORK....SO I AM GOING TO DELETE EVERYTHING ON THE PC THAT SHOULD DO IT.....

Hi Rob,

As you know, system restore will not remove a virus.

In the case of TROJAN.ZLOB, there are free removal tools on the Internet, as there are for most virus infections. Type the name 'TROJAN.ZLOB' and search, this should do the job, just follow the instructions, and you will be able to download a removal tool and remove the Trojan without deleting all the info on your computer.

Hi rob

Dont boher trying to delete anything, you would need to do a full re-format of your drive to get rid of it that way (been there done that) Its a big job, takes hours and you have to re-instal everything youve aded such as programs, drivers etc.

Try Johns idea, you should be able to sort it.

By the way- dont send anyone an attached file in an email-it will spread it.

If Johns idea dosent work try a Big dose of penicillan, that might help?
