Dont know anybody else in this position, an agent in La Cala Homefinders, told us they had several people in the same position including an ex member of staff, dont know if they can help.
Palm Golf seems to be going to happen but like you say, can we trust anyone?

We are now going to take new legal advice here in England as both AJA developers and our lawyer cannot be trusted to work in our interestsas they have gone back on their word. They are not to be trusted by anyone concerning Grand or Palm Golf they have had people's money for 4 yearsand are laughing all the way to the bank.

We have spent ages going through numerous lawyers until finally settling on one we feel can be trusted and they are now going through all the paperwork and will carry on with the process of trying to resolve our problems with Palm/Grand Golf. We still have not heard of anyone who has any money back or believes Palm Golf wil go ahead. It has been years of waiting and wasting time and money so we want an end to it all.

We have been speaking to Miguel @ Leiusre Immo, they were the original promoters. He says that the agents have now gone to court and are awaiting the judges decision. At court AJA confirmed they will be building the properties but could not confirm when?.
Still no further forward really but the judges decision will make a difference.

Has anyone got any news concerning the Palm Golf development and/or the court case against the developer?
I attended the court case in September 2008 but am finding it very difficult to get any info about what is now happening

Has anyone succeeded in getting their money back from the Bank/Developer in respect of Calanova Palm Golf ? We put a deposit down in 2005 and apparently have a cast iron bank guarantee. However the bank wont pay and keeps asking for extra papers which our lawyer keeps providing. We went to a Notary with our lawyer and even the Notary was amazed that we are having to take this action.
The Agent (Miguel from Imo Leisure) seemed to think that a demonstration outside the Caja Sol Banks branch in Marbella would be a great idea!!

Hi, I thought I was the only one left who had any interest in Calanova Palm Golf! Thank goodness there is someone else! Lots of people keep looking at the posts both here and on Devwatch, but nobody sems to post. We have been out of pocket since 2003!
The only info I have is that which I posted last. If you can`t find the article in ElMundo, it could well be that it was on the 13th and not the 12th August. As far as I know the case is still wending its way very slowly through the Courts. IF YOU DO FIND ANYTHING---KEEP POSTING, I certainly will. Or send me a private message and we can keep in touch.

Hi, to get the full story - like we have - you should talk to Miguel at Leisure Imo. He is very involved in all the Court cases which have all gone against the developer. Now the developer has liquidated the Company they are planning on sueing the individual directors. Its a long story but if you do get out to Spain he can explain it to you. By the way, do you have a Bank guarantee (for what its worth!) or are you involved in the group action against the Developer?
