Hi all,

just back from our mid term visit.

I am afraid to say that i was a bit disappointed in a few ways. We had a few problems on our Mid term visit and below is a few we encountered.

First of all there were 4 of us, who all had to do NIE numbers, activate bank accounts and visit 2 properties on site, while on site we were due to have a meeting with AIB (atlas technical) about building a swimming pool.

Our mid term was through atlas.

When we arrived friday night, we were told that we would be picked up on monday morning at 9am to go to murcia for our NIE numbers, then to the site and then to the bank. There was nothing arranged for the saturday or the sunday.

On the monday we went to Murcia - the long way! got our NIE numbers in minutes. then went to site.

we were told that we could not enter our own properties as it had not been arranged through S.A.C.  We could only see the show house. AIB were no where to be seen, so our driver phoned them - they had no knowledge of the meeting which had been arranged through the client service center and the mid term department.

We arrived on site at 11 am and our driver told us that we had to be at the bank for 12.30pm and it would take about 20 mins to get there, but as he didnt know where it was, we would have to find it, so we would have to leave the site at 12pm. so basically we had an hour to look at the show house, the outside of our 2 properties and the site.

I was not a happy bunny.

I must apologise to those of you who had asked me for some photos and info, i got a few general photos and a couple for caroline but that was about it, i am afraid.

between dashing from the sales office to the show house and then to our properties and during all this on the phone to the client service center wanting to know what was going on, why AIB wasnt there and why had it not been arranged through S.A.C to get into the houses.  And our driver kept saying 'are you ready?' we have to be at the bank.  Ok we couldnt miss the bank, but we hadnt been given much time, why was everything squeezed into one day?

Atlas client service center i am afraid were not helpful, there explanation was:

AIB no longer carry out the installing of swimming pools and it is now done through the client service center, who in turn contact the builder, unfortunately no one can come out to site today, but if you could tell us your pool specifications including pool size, shape, tiles etc over the telephone or by email, we will contact the builder to see if this is possible and to get a quote, however the builder may not do that particular pool shape or size, if this is the case, we would inform you of what sizes and shapes are available.Regarding S.A.C . , i (client service center) have never heard of this and we always advise clients they may not be able to enter their own property.

At this point i was getting annoyed. I explained that there was a poster about S.A.C in the sales office and the man in the sales office said that entry into houses is arranged through them, again i was told they had not heard of this.

To me this was double dutch. 10 days ago they arranged the meeting with AIB, now they didnt do it, but no one had contacted me. They can only arrange it with the builder, but what i want, the builder might not do, but they didnt know what sizes or shapes of pools the builder did do.  would it not of made more sense to know what pools were available through the builder.  I dont even know the size of my garden!!  uuurggh!

the first 3 photos i have uploaded are of the new road in and the road leading up to M24/sales office

** for caroline**the next 3  are of the road of M24, M24 13 and its garden(this one has a different date.

the next on is of the road at M11 (taken from the bottom end) and the new swimming pool/restaurant from the M11 side

Any way, as for the site, there was work going on, pavements been laid, cables going in, but i didnt really see much difference from when i was out in june, except for the new restaurant/swimming pool at M11 and being able to come in the new road, however this wasnt finished either.

there is no electricity connected on M11, the pavements are not started on M11, the road isnt finished on M11 and most of the houses are still waiting for their gates to go on.

on other roads, not all the pavements and roads were finished.

on M24 the pavenents are not done.

and i think that was about all i managed to find out.

Today i have been on the phone and sending a few emails of complaints, i was told by grupo masa that M11 should be ready for handover in about 1-2months time, but if i am honest i cant see it being this year. If they prove me wrong, then good.

we were then taken to the bank, just in time! and back to our hotel. and then home.

hope this helps, sorry if i waffled on - i am still fuming!!

dee and scott
