mortgage payments? how is everyone transferring the cost of into their spanish bank accounts are they setting a direct debit up with their uk banks? unsure how to do this! many thanks new to this buying experience!

Hi Daz

We are using Halifax Espana to transfer funds to Spain. If you open a Halifax account in the UK there is no charge for transferring money out there.

Hello Daz,

We have a mortgage with Cam bank and we transfer money each month through Moneycorp. They charge a £4 fee each month but their exchange rate is good. They take the money from uk account each month and it clears in Spain about a week later.
