Hi

I have received quite a few personal messages concerning the air conditioning contractor we used to install a system at our 2 bed apartment on Roda.  I have replied but am not sure if the messages have been relayed as I don't think my pm system is working, so please email me on sandra.blakey1@btinternet.com if you want details.

We are out between 5 and 15 June at Roda so won't be answering any emails during that time.

Regards

Sandra & Allan

Hi All,

So far I have only 2 aircon suppliers to choose between, Polar air Costa Blanca (gary) or Rodas own.

Does anybody else have any other that they would recommend before we go ahead with any of these.

Thanks Rory.

Hi RD,

There are plenty of other installers, but to be honest you would be best to stick with Gary@ Polarair.

I know Sandra would agee with this 100%

I try not to be biased, but honestly he's a gem and did a fab job for us at a fair price.

Just been advised that our Phase 3 apartment will be ready 1st week of January (Hurrah)

Had an e-mail through from Roda re a/c. Coming in at 2,514 Euro or 3,200 Euro for inverter system. They clain it's cheaper to install pre completion as we will only need to 20% with balance added to the final cost for the apt. Plus VAT @ 7% versus 16%.

Any ideas??

Hi,

I went with a guy called Gary from Polarair.  Cheaper than Roda and very professional. You can contact him at

Yes Gary also did a great job for us in and out in a day good job and no mess.

I did ring him to see if there was any way of putting the air con on a timer so it cut off after a certain amount of time, he has not got back to me so I presume not. Does anyone know of such a timer ?

We recently had the furniture pack people in who kept the key for 2 weeks awaiting curtains, when I eventually got a spare to the Roda office they went in to check apartment and the air con and lights had been left on for the full 2 weeks so beware.

Just got back from Roda and it was a bit nippy in the evening so tried the a/c to warm the place up only to find it was blowing cold air only.

Rang Gary who fitted it, he arrived the next morning and sorted it in a couple of hours. ( would Roda have been as quick?) I would have thought not judging from the problems people are having with snags.
