Hi all.just wondering if anyone has either any recent photo's of progress or any information as to how near their to completing phase 2 of the development.been told it should be ready early july.is this the case.look forward to meeting you all.

Hi all - we purchased no 300 Florida Golf and were told that it would be ready by end of may. Does anyone know when phase 2 will be ready? and how far on the pool is? Would be really greatfull if anyone has any photos. Looking forward to meeting you all.

Ah but ML they didn't tell us WHICH May, did they?
By the way could anyone in phase 1 please upload some up to date photos of phase 2 please please please? The agents don't seem to want to be bothered keeping us informed at any level and it would be cheaper than flying out!

Hiya everyone, we have just returned home after a week away, we are on the first phase, all I can tell you is that we were told that the pool would be ready within 2 weeks, must say it looks very impressive, they seem to be getting on with things, palm trees planted and the pool is all tiled, they were building the surrounding wall, whether it will be done in 2 weeks I wouldnt like to say, whilst we were there, they were filming the show house for a programme on Overseas property channel which is a digital channel, so look out for that, it might give you some information. sorry didnt take any pictures, we are No 373 on the first phase, so give us a wave when you pass us

hi all, thanks for the info back, its just a shame the developers are not as forth coming with the info!! i would really appericate if anyone already there or planning a trip could take some pictures and upload them. we've bought no: 340 so give us a knock if your passing, looking forward to meeting everyone, hopefully soon! claire x

Hiya everyone, I was just browsing the other forums on this site when I came across some information that will help us all I think, it appears that when you drive in Spain, even when you hire a car, you have got to have reflective jackets for each occupant, (I have been wondering why they are in the cars) also you need warning triangles and even bulbs for the head lights, something to think about when hiring a car, I have to say, these have never been offered to us, we always use Coys cars, they are reliable and you dont have to pay for loads of petrol, just 12 euros, but I will be getting in touch with them to make sure these items are privided the next time we hire, it is just something to think about isnt it. probably someone already living in Spain could let us know exactly what we need when we are driving over there.

Hi all, just had word today that anyone expecting to complete in July can forget it!! All spanish builders take a month off in August, therefore no one will complete till September at the earliest. Funny how they manage to contact you when they want money, but not to let you no about any delays, we only discovered this after nagging them!! sorry for the bad news. But at least you now no not to book on hols in for August! claire x

Hiya Claire, same thing happened to us last year, we are on the first phase, we were told that ours would be ready by June/July 2006, anyway everything official closes down in August for a month, solicitors and such like, so with work commitments and so on, it was actually October when we signed, but it was worth it, remember to take a snagging list with you when you take over and make a note of everything that you want them to 'put right', the first phase were lucky because the builders were still on site doing what will be your properties, but once they have gone it will be that much harder to get things done, we were lucky, we only needed little things done so my husband just sorted them out himself. Remember also to change all the locks, they reckon that up to 6 different people including the cleaners could have had access to the keys to each apartment, just something to think about. Be security consious once you have signed over, with grilles and alarms, you cant be too careful. We are over again in October so if anyone needs any help just give us a shout :-) No 373 (on the first phase) Good luck to everyone

Hi all.Hope alls well, does any have a contact names or numbers for good but cheap car hire companies i can use when i come over.Has anybody took photos lately you could send. its starting become drag now.the company i bought from their aftersales are very poor (lacking information).Anyway it wouldn`t long now. looking forward to meeting you all  .Claire

Hiya Claire We use coys car rental when we come over there, you can pick the car up from the airport, the beauty is, they dont charge you silly prices for petrol, you get 12 euros of petrol in the tank and you can take it back empty, but from our experience there is quite a lot of petrol when you pick it up, we have found that the other hire companies charge silly money for petrol anyway you can give them a try if you just put in coys rent a car Spain on internet explorer it will come up, hope it is of some help to you,

Hi all friends of ours checked out the apartments last week. Pool is finished and looks good, apartments are all painted and looking ready to hand over. When I get his photos i'll attach them. Keep in touch if you hear anything!

Hi all.just to let all no that the work is most done.was over last week.they were tarmacing the road on the day left.It looks good.Had all my work carried out.if anyone needs air-con fitting i have a number for a good fitter.Quite reasonable.

hello
we have also bought on the development (ground floor). we were last over at the end of September and the pool had water in it and was being used, unfortunately by all. people were coming from surronding developments to use it. Noel had told us that there would be gates, so the area would be secure, as most pools are in the area. I mentioned this to Dave while there and he said he would check it out, but we still aren't any wiser about it. Does anyone know whether the gates are going on and if so when. While on the subject of gates does anyone know whether the gates to the garden areas are put on by the builders or whether that is down to us also. The drawings of the apartments that we were shown do have gates so we presumed that they would be fitted.
Lou and Dave we received a private e mail from you but unfortunately we are not too computer literate and weren't sure how to do that. Hello anyway if you read this.
We are going back out at the end of November, but don't anticipate that this will be finalised then as we have not been invited for snagging yet, never mind signing. So don't think it will be ours till next year sometime now.
