Hi

Can someone recommend a reliable person who installs air con units?  Also, if anyone can give advice on which cool air unit is the best quality and most reliable, I would much appreciate it.

Finally any rough ideas on how much a good quality unit would cost?

I used Clizama who installed a Fujitsu unit, they were efficient and reasonable. Cost will depend on your requirements. Info@clizama.es

try the  main shop in Roldan, it is on the right hand side on the Corner as you drive through the Main Street. They are very good and have been installing Air Con units for many of the owners in our resort. They speak English and have their own Engineers who install the units.The price depends on your own choice and pocket. I had mine installed by them and they provide extra Guarantees and services as well. Hassle free and on TIME .

The shop is called TIEN 21, as you drive through Roldan , it is situated on the corner ,near where the AGM is going to held at.

I bought 3 Panasonic air con units with inverter, these units cool and heat. I wanted a quiet and efficient units . I have one for the sitting room and one in each bedrooms , I found them to be adequate ,they come with remote unit which you can use the timer , to set it to switch on/ off when you want.these units come with 2 years guarantee as well.

As far the cost it all depends on what you are after. I paid € 700 for one including fitting .

There  are other  local companies providing the same service .

I am arriving on Monday ,you can drop by and see it for yourself.

Thanks for your reply. I'm not in Spain at the moment, I'm trying to organise something before I go out at the end of May.

I've heard the Panasonic units are good, so I think that's the make I'll go for. I know the shop you're talking about & where it is.
