Non residents tax

has anybody paid non residents tax on an apartment that's not being rented if so how much ? .also how much is council tax and when do we pay these thanks Paul

We don't rent our apartment out and used this company to prepare our non resident tax forms:

They only charge £29.95. They prepare and send the forms to you and you take it to the bank. Last year we paid about 58 euros per person as both our names are on the property. There is plenty of FAQS on this website and you can ask them any questions. We will pay this when we are over in October

Our council tax last year was about 280 euros but it depends on how your property is valued so everyone's will be different. We set this up as a direct debit with the bank, think it's due about September time.

I haven't paid either IBI or non-residents tax. I completed in March 2015

I emailed my lawyer to ask when I would be expected to pay and what costs there would be as an owner who doesn't rent out my apartment. The response is below.

The IBi will come our around September, we will email you once it is ready and inform you in order to pay it and set the direct debit, . I think that it could be around 250 €.
 
We will also email you around September to inform you about the NRT but aprox 60 €.

So, much better than I expected
