We don't rent our apartment out and used this company to prepare our non resident tax forms:

They only charge £29.95. They prepare and send the forms to you and you take it to the bank. Last year we paid about 58 euros per person as both our names are on the property. There is plenty of FAQS on this website and you can ask them any questions. We will pay this when we are over in October

Our council tax last year was about 280 euros but it depends on how your property is valued so everyone's will be different. We set this up as a direct debit with the bank, think it's due about September time.

We received a letter/flyer a few months ago telling us about the new installations. It was in Spanish so had to translate it as my Spanish isn't great. It was a spiel about how the company were bringing everything up to date but won't effect us in any way.

Hi All

Yes the place I got my gate keys is in Torre Pacheco, calle Portugal. Just go in and tell them your block number and its about 7euros per key. Another thread has been started by 'susankeeping' re outer keys and she describes the location.

Hi All

Not had any experience off front door keys being cut as we got about 5 when we purchased but only one gate key. Tried allsorts of places in the UK and no one could do it. We asked security at the gate house and they gave us a business card for a locksmith (dont have the details at the min as i'm in the UK but out next week so will let you know). The 'locksmith' was like an ironmongers yard, the old lady there asked what block and how many (some spanish needed!) and cut what we needed from the one we had. The old dear was shouting at everyone as they came in, it was an hilarious experience! When she came back with the keys I paid in a load of change that I had laid out on the table and she was made up! Couldn't thank us enough! 

I now have plenty of spare sets. I'm in phase one so not sure if she has all keys but worth a visit - will update details next week.
