Hi

We bought in July and love United Golf Resort. Apartments are high spec and gardens and pools are immaculate. Golf course is closed and overgrown, but I don't think it is an eyesore.

There no facilities on site, but hopefully there will be in time as properties are bought up.

my advice - go and see for yourself!

We also have a Facebook page if you are interested. The link is in an earlier post on this site.

Heather

Hi Heather, thankyou for your reply and could you tell me how much are the comunal charges per month

and is there much crime on the complex ?

I agree that we do need to come out and have a look, i was just looking for as much info as possible before,

i have been told that there are only a few apartments left (and what i cant understand is why the complex is not booming)

The prices are very attractive and the apartments look very nice

best regards

The communal charges vary by property. We currently pay about £190 per quarter for a 2 bed apartment on phase one.

The banks do seem to keep releasing stock. So I don't know if they are holding some back so that they don't saturate the market?

We have only owned since July so I can't really comment on crime. I think there have been problems in the past but not sure of the current situation. You have some risk of burglary wherever you are I suppose. We just don't have anything valuable there!

The complex does seem to be getting busier now so I'm hoping things are on the up and we will see some more facilities onsite soon. Personally, I love the peace and tranquility. It is a really lovely resort and I fell in love when I went to view. We didn't get a bank repossession we bought a resale as there are plenty of 'deals' to be had there too!

La Tercia village is also nearby and is lovely and quaint with some well stocked supermarkets and bars.
