Potential buyer

Hi, could anyone give me some feedback re buying a property on terrazas de la torre please, I really like the look of the resort but would like to know a bit more of the pros and cons before I come out to have a look, any feedback appreciated.

There are lots of pros and cons about buying on here as well as any other resort .Lots of things should be taken into account when buying, but then lots of things are down to your own circumstances,and needs. For example,it would be wise to take into account when, and at what time of the year you would be using the property. If you will be using the property in the winter, then remember it does get cold so,a south west facing property would suit you better as you will get the sun a lot longer on the rear terrace. Seclusion? if you have already been here , then you will know that there is only one bar on here which has had a chequered history ( hopefully now taken care off ), one supermarket with limited opening hours, and thats about it, however there are places to go within the vicinity. As we do, you can always nip over to La torre where the supermarket has a bigger range, and a few bars and eateries. 

But, all in all the resort is a nice place and run well by the managment compan (although the fees are a tad too high) and the security is second to none, which is always a big concern in spain. We are a little isolated, but, hey, thats not a bad thing sometimes. The residents are not a bad bunch and will generally you will find them kind and helpful.

Last, but not least, THE PRICE, well, take it from me who paid 160,000 eoros for my place off plan, at the price you'll pay, and the current exchange rate, you will be getting one hell of a bargain.

Thank you very much for this I must admit the price of the properties is appealing I have 2 children who love the water so the pools look nice and large for them to play in, I understand that there's not much there at present, but the more people that buy should make the requirement for more bars / restaurants hopefully.

One BIG tip if you have kids, go for a ground floor property( south west face ) as near to the pool as possible. I have met a couple with two young kids who have done just that meaning they can sit in the their garden and keep an eye on the kids rather than running up and down the stairs.

My advice we be to rent an apartment on Terrazas for a holiday, Easter or one of the summer months to get a feel for the place for your family.

Walk around the complex to see which block would suite your family.

Beaches are 15 to 20 mins away lots of restaurants & bars 10 to 17 mins away.

We have found the people on the complex very friendly & helpful.

We again bought off plan & had our keys in 2010 have not regretted it.

We bought off plans also and while we love Terrazas, our financial situation dictates that we must sell soon. If you'd like to see a fully equipped & furnished apartment, by the pool in building  276 (first floor), we can put you in touch with our keyholder/seller. It's a great place for someone with small children. Hopefully by the time they are teenagers, there will be more of a social life

Hi thanks for the feedback, how much is your place for sale for, and does it have air con?

We're looking for 70K including air con, TV, furniture, white goods (not new but functional) etc. Everything may not be exactly as you would chose but it would save a lot of hassle early on
