Glad to help,

One BIG tip if you have kids, go for a ground floor property( south west face ) as near to the pool as possible. I have met a couple with two young kids who have done just that meaning they can sit in the their garden and keep an eye on the kids rather than running up and down the stairs.

Cheers

Hello ,

There are lots of pros and cons about buying on here as well as any other resort .Lots of things should be taken into account when buying, but then lots of things are down to your own circumstances, and needs. For example,it would be wise to take into account when, and at what time of the year you would be using the property. If you will be using the property in the winter, then remember it does get cold so,a south west facing property would suit you better as you will get the sun a lot longer on the rear terrace. Seclusion? if you have already been here , then you will know that there is only one bar on here which has had a chequered history ( hopefully now taken care off ), one supermarket with limited opening hours, and thats about it, however there are places to go within the vicinity. As we do, you can always nip over to La torre where the supermarket has a bigger range, and a few bars and eateries.

But, all in all the resort is a nice place and run well by the managment compan (although the fees are a tad too high) and the security is second to none, which is always a big concern in spain. We are a little isolated, but, hey, thats not a bad thing sometimes. The residents are not a bad bunch and will generally you will find them kind and helpful.

Last, but not least, THE PRICE, well, take it from me who paid 160,000 eoros for my place off plan, at the price you'll pay, and the current exchange rate, you will be getting one hell of a bargain.

Good Luck

Oh Dear, I've been told I am being sexist, referring to mr Jinyx in the male gender, he just could be one of us, well one of me!.

Sharon & Richard,

Sorry, I didnt see your latest reply before I corrected myself. There see? I'm at it again, and he's going mad!.

Yes, as a Nurse, Im sure youve seen and heard more than most. As a  teacher, and an ex serving Magistrate for many a year, believe me, I really do deserve that great big medal, it drove me bonkers, but I throughly enjoyed it at the same time. The same cant be said of teaching which used to be a pleasure, and is now a soulless paper pushing exercise.

The term " Beyond reasonable doubt " comes to mind when youve formed your opinion of Mr Jinyx. I cant accept that you being a wisely Lady can say that youve based the ten times better quote on someone you THINK you MIGHT know?, thats a little unfair and misguided dont you think?. I've learnt over the years that it's better to be 100% certain than to cast aspersions at someone without knowing them. I havent got a clue who Jinyx is, or what his real name is. But he is entitled to anonymity if he so choses so, as are a lot of others on this site that choose to do so, and surely deserves a fair trial rather than forming an opinion on a hunch?. I must say I do have a habit of sticking up for the underdog, maybe comes from my love of tennis and oxford utd, but its just that I found the replies to his posting harsh, to say the least

I would, however, say that, going by his postings, he is somewhat literate, more than some of the pupils I see going off to university these days, I can assure you, and somewhat amusing, maybe not to your taste, but tickles mine (the goat posting). Lets not start a witch hunt here but if youre out  there Mr Jinyx, the ducking stool awaits you by the pool of your choice. I must say that since his last posting he has been suspiciously quiet so, come on Mr Jinyx, have your say, stick up for yourself, where are you?

Anyway Sharon & Richard, I'll leave it there as theres one Spaniard who is giving me daggers, but, hey nice to speak to you, you seem like nice people, see? there I go judging again, but I'm sure you are.

Who knows, we might just bump into each other one day, but, until then I promise not to judge, and likewise with you, I hope. Although I must say, we're not very social animals, except on the odd occasion.

Hope your day is all you wish for,

Jayne
