They can be a bit sneaky with extra insurance and their fuel costs are high. In Alicante their office is in the car park, level 2 if memory serves. Have waited for 2 hours in the past so don't use them anymore, worth getting someone from your group to sprint off the plane to get a place in the queue...

Our firefly car broke down it was rubbish and rather than bringing us a new car they expected us to get back to alicante! Regarding waiting times play them at their own game book 2 cars of similar price through doyouspain and when you get there choose the one with smallest queue! ;-)

I took someone in Taxi to pick up new car at MJV from Firefly as breakdown truck only took car. I presented them with an invoice there and then and they paid . Official Taxi transfer I believe is included in breakdown , check before you book and if a problem collecting remember I am an official Taxi so can invoice car rental company.

We used them in April and although it was pretty quiet at MJV and we were a little nervous after reading some poor reviews after booking, in the end we could not fault Firefly...We were on the road within 15 minutes in a nearly new Zafira that had only done 1500km....They were way cheaper than anyone else so would book again.
