money refunds

Has anybody got refunds from court cases or are in the process of getting refunds.

I have to tell everybody that Maria de Castro has been successful in getting our deposit back.

So pleased that you got your money back at long last. Do you think it's worth me contacting Maria de Castro? We thought that there was no chance of getting our £50,000 back long ago and therefore never took any action.

You do not have anything to lose by contacting her.All our contacts were by email.We had to pay 4000 euro.up front and had to have all dealings with Lawyers of Spain transffered to Maria.It was a bit of a gamble but we paid over 60k deposit so i thought it was worth a chance.I really did not think we could win the case.If you email all your details to Maria and wait and see what they say,then you could make a decision.Regarding contacts from Maria (i am saying Maria but she has lots of employees)In thelast 2 years we could only contact them with questions every 3 months ,but when it works out its great,Wishing you all the best.

Thanks for the info. We are going to Spain on the 5th November for 2 weeks and I think I will definitely get in contact with her. Do you have her address and email details please. What do you mean by 'we could only contact them with questions every 3 months'? Do they restrict you from contacting them because they are so busy or is it to keep the costs down? Do you know if anyone else got their money back? What basis did she win the case on? Sorry for all the questions Pater.

Also what part of Ireland do you come from? We have just got back from a long weekend in Southern Ireland (East Clare) and loved it. Went to see the cliffs of Moher which were amazing.

Hi Pater we are in Spain and have handed over our file to Keith Rule to start proceeding against the Developer. Keith was just a victim just like us and lost money so did all the research on the net and realised he could claim against the banks as well as the developers. Together with Maria De Costa he won the case and as he was so good Maria De Costa employed him. There is an article about him in the Mail Online which is very interesting. I will let you know how we get on and thanks again for your advice.
