Time for Mortgage and Furniture

We have just returned home from Spain and were able to get into our apartment to do the snagging which we have forwarded to our Lawyers.  Have other people found many problems?

We also visited Cajasur to discuss the mortgage, we would be interested to know whether other people have approached them for a mortgage and how long a process it has been.

Having looked around several times at various furniture companies, we have received great help and advice from Natural Habitat in La Cala.  Their showroom is well stocked and they have good contacts with electricians, curtain makers etc..  They keep in regular email contact and have sent photos of different pieces of furniture as promised.  We would definately recommend them.

We are buying in block 5 and would be interested to know of families who are also buying there.  We have children of 13, 15, 18 and 19.

We went to look in Block 5 last week and liked what we saw. Have you any tips on dealing with the developers. Reading other posts it seems that they are in no rush to complete the site.

I don't think that there is much work outstanding, the pool needs filling but we were told that this would be done at the very end as it would then be ready for the start of the season.  The plants are in and we were told that they would soon spring to life!

We are just waiting for our mortgage offer and then we hope to complete very soon.  I would think that you are in a good position as there are still quite a few unsold apartments in block 5.

Marisa the rep told us they would finish off the ground and the pool when the power was connect which she said would be about 6 to 8 weeks, WE are going out again at easter to hopefully move things along.
