It doesnt matter if its leaving the resort or not, thats not the point. The point is we pay for a security service in the community fees. As owners we only get over about 3 times a year, i want to make sure my property is safe all year round. especially as we have paid our community fees since day dot and i know some who havent yet still get full use of CDA and its facilities!!!! Thus i'd like to make sure that what i spend my money on is going in the right areas.
Yes all guests and visitors should report to to security with proof of where they are renting, or at least get asked why they are visiting CDA, details taken, name vehicle reg, who they are visiting, and how long they are planning on staying for.
Or use the thousands of wasted car park spaces outside the resort for none staying guests and visitors, thus the only people driving round the resort will be residents or renters. If anyting does get stolen that would surely narrow it down or you will see people walking about with washing machines.
