A fundamental issue exists regarding the public land that is being used by the resort gardeners and IRM as a rubbish dump which was never part of the resort plans or did not ever receive planning permission.

The issue was first raised in 2009 and the Association has worked with its owners and Resortalia/Committee to progress what had been offically agreed with the Local Authority.

Despite several chasing letters and raising the issue consistently over the last 4 years, the Committee have not subsequently changed their views and decided this is no longer a problem.

Furthermore, the newly elected committee have publicly attacked 2 HRGR Presidents who have raised this issue for continuing to seek resolution to what is not approved or allowed on public land.

The Committee have also started a work to rule as they see this as being unfair to them!

In order to be very clear, this land is public land, has no planning permission to be used for any other purpose than public land and the HRGR Association will fight to ensure that IRM and the gardeners are not allowed to be there.

martin338 i do understand your angst, but as i understand your actions of legal action threats have caused upset and anger amongst HR residents in that you have as far as i am aware taken this action with out consulting any other residents in your phase apart from one other person who seems to agree with you.

I do sympathise with you about the veiws from your bedroom windows, and i think the situation will be sorted in the future, but your actions have from what i have been told rubbed most residents of the whole resort up the wrong way and the company responsible for the golf coarse IRM and your actions are a direct result as to why the lakes are not being filled with water. Im not fully up to speed with all the facts, perhaps you could explain.

There are a material number of HRGR owners behind this course of action which is why the Association was created.

The recent Environmental Impact study to what was approved in 2005 shows that the community and golf course are not in compliance with the legal framework as approved. Accordingly, Murcia Council have now been informed and it is for them to ensure compliance with the environmental standards including penalties for non performance.

For IRM then there is lack of water across all of their resorts however only HRGR has a protected environmental SPA zone hence any IRM assets will be required to fix the HRGR issues and compensation for non-performance.

Time to stand up and change the resort for the better

To HRGR Owners

We confirm that we are actively driving a process for positive change within the resort which supports
open, transparent change for all owners that have invested in the resort.

We believe that a Community of Owners have the same rights and any one owner is able to raise any issue for discussion without being verbally attacked or insulted especially by the communities elected committee members who should always support other elected representatives of the resort.

The position of the workers compound is crystal clear, it was never on the approved planning permission, no one has ever given authority for the site to be used and it is only the HRGR Committee that is preventing their gardeners from moving. This was a multi-billion euro project and every detail was agreed at the planning permission stage and under no account was a workers compound stated for that area.

We look for resolution of this fundamental issue.

I think the forum moderator ought to be aware that the so called 'association' mentioned in these posts is bogus. It is not a legally registered association in Spain. (I have checked).

I am an organiser of a correctly registered charitable association in Spain. These bogus associations set up by people making wide claims to represent causes are a menance to hardworking charities.

Please have these posts involving this bogus group removed.

For the record the HRGR Association is managed and run from outside Spain for owners across all of Europe, hence there is no requirement for this to be registered in Spain.

With the various insults and threats that have been raised amongst HRGR owners then the bullying culture cannot be allowed to continue further and the President and full Committee need to be held to account for allowing this to happen.

This is why we invite only those owners that we truly believe will fight this injustice.

The disgrace is all yours. You have no support for your methods. You are pretentious is suggesting you are supported by owners at HRGR with your phoney 'association'.

There are established channels to follow if you have a disagreement with the committee and the president. If everyone followed your lead anarchy and chaos would break out and the resort would.be ungovernable.

The system is not perfect but your behaviour makes everything worse..
