Do we as owners get to receive a copy of these summary accounts??

Can't remember seeing any but I don't check every email from ML.  Compared to the time spent on the weekly gardening update sending out a pdf of the accounts would be a piece of cake.

I do remember asking Phil about regular monthly/quarterly accounts as I had expected these to be provided by an administrator. This was a while back and I assume ML was in situ but can't swear to it.  The upshot was no regular accounts to any decent standard. That may of course have changed as ML had time in their role...but it seems there was still an underlying issue with the level of info being provided.

PGM mentions having a review of the accounts...and this will quickly identify any obvious shortcomings.  However the only way to keep an eye on whats happening (in a very simplistic way) is to receive monthly accounts broken down by garden and by nature of the expense. Only by being able to review garden v garden over a number of months will you be able to spot any "funnies". And by looking at month v month expenses in total you will identify any spikes in expenses.   The starting point is knowing the details and the activities that drive a normal months expenses...it seems this was also the starting point of the problems.

In what way am I 'banging ML's drum'? I clearly said that IMO there were wrongs on both sides, and if the L2 presidents had voted in favour of Phil instead of ML I'd have been happy with that too. But the decision went the other way, and only time will tell if it was the right one. In the meantime, I think we should at least give the new L1 president and ML a chance to prove themselves.

You have been proven wrong and are not capable of admitting so. This shows the type of individual you are and I for one will not entertain any more of your biased slant even though you advocate FACT and EVIDENCE.

It is now obvious to one and all that you will never see the truth even when EVIDENCE shows it as FACT.

I pity your misguided logic and feel fortunate that I dont do any business with you as that would indeed be disastrous with the blinkered views you hold, unless you are the best actor and wind up merchant walking the planet that is, then I salute you!.

OK, it's obvious that the 'Phil Camp' are now adopting personal abuse and insults against those who dare to have a different opinion (hopefully not with the support and endorsement of Phil himself). People can make of that what they will, and if these are the sort of people you want running your community on your behalf, then fair enough.

So that being the case I'll bow out of the discussion now and leave it to you. I've made my opinion clear and don't really have anything more to add anyway.

What ever you views and thoughts are on this situation, why the hell has someone started up a new thread on this topic, this will only open up old wounds for the Tanns and ML. Some of you wish the best for the Tanns, thats really great yet this thread is not allowing them to forget and move forward all you are doing is raking up the past for them.

I really do think some of you have nothing better to do with your time.

Can we please move on.

The likes of Giles, Cappieclown and the rest have only gone quiet because they can see whats happened and choose to do the typical ostritch trick with head in sand and hope it will  all go away!

This should all be forgotten about and swept under the carpet as far as they are concerned but I can assure them IT WILL NOT!
