Hi,

I will be out in January to play golf, does anybody know what time it goes dark? Will we have time to get a full round in if we pay for a twilight fee do you think?

Regards

J

have a look at www.playaparaiso.org/cam  and you get an hour by hour view of Mar Menor complete with temperature Today it looks like you could play until 5.30 pm local time

 Hi J

We came home last night after a few very pleasant days (though eerily quiet!)  The course in Terrazas is currently closing at 4pm though its bright till 5.45 (then dark very suddenly!)  La Torre is open till 6 &  has twilight specials from 2pm. We only played 9 holes at a time so didn't register twilight start time in Terrazas

Our course was quite busy last week. However probably no more than 20 appartments in the whole resort were occupied, so it may have been golf societies using it during the Christmas break. We were glad to catch the occasional glimpse of a fellow human!

However, enjoy! Be prepared for very cool mornings & nights & pack appropriately, however we had non-stop sunshine from 27 - 31 dec and it got quite warm in the middle of the day so its a good break from Irish grey skies!

Regards

Roma

Just returned from 10 glorious days on Terraza.

All 6 courses are under the stewardship of Global Golf (as at 1 January)and as a result twilight golf fees are all the same €30 per round, however the tee off times are from 2.00pm (previously 1.00pm on Terraza - and Condado and Mar Menor I think). I played a couple of times and managed to finish quite comfortably, although I think a 3 or 4 ball would be a struggle. It was light until around 6.00pm but again the weather was really good which would have resulted in slightly longer daylight.

The course was busier than I had seen last year in the times I was over (June, July/August and October), however it was still very quiet.
