TV Package

If you are thinking of the one off payment TV package my advice is to go to Polaris.

Last October we purchased a WISI unit from a company called Astrasat. At that time they could not get it working and they told us the aerial was not connected. During our visit in March  we could only get Spanish terrrestial tv and after several telephone  conversations with them talking me through the set up procerdure Astrasat said the sattelite was still not connected. During our visit in August we again tried to tune in the sattelite channels with no success and again were told by Astrasat that it was a sattelite problem. After trying the box on a neighbours aerial who were already receiveing sattelite channels the box did not work. We then tried their box on our aerial and it worked OK. We then tried sevreal times to contact Astrasat by phone,  text and email but with no reply.

We now  realised we had been sold a dummy box,  so we contacted Polaris and  they installed a new fully functional  box within days that worked perfectly.

Not sure that Polaris telecoms are still in business. I understand that negotiations are underway with A2Z for supply of  tv services, this seems to affect the newer blocks in phase 2 but may also be relevant for the rest of the phases.

 We had a problems with our Polaris box so we contacted A 2 Z they came out changed the box with no charge.

 The A 2 Z man said that our Polaris box was not compatible with the signal.

  We only had our Polaris box a couple of months.

 They were very easy to deal with, we now receive a lot of English channels.
