What we are getting

I was at MHV site last week. I went onto the site and inside the appartment. The work is finished and all what is left is probably few snagging items. The Floor is good but still needs polishing. The tiles in the bathrooms are also good quality and the basin and toilets are also very nice. The views are superb despite the different developments which have been erected in the area in the interim. The balcony is good size and I didn't think the metal stairs to the gardens are a major disadvantage.

The grass and plantations are underway and will make the site look really good. There is still some work to be done in the underground carpark and in different areas of the site.

I also went again into El Soto and viewed one of their appartments for sale at similar price. I must admit there is a lot of avantages for MHV as far as views, size of rooms and being less crowded as units. The landscape is also prettier in MHV. I think we have to be fair and report the positives as well as the negatives which we have been bombarded with over the last 15 months. Yes the development is a year late and yes the market has gone down quite a lot but the work is now finished and for those interested in enjoying it there is a lot to be happy about. I hope that people who want to live there have the confidence and will  to make it a nice community. Obviously we have to be careful with the final stages of completion, snagging, community facilities handed over etc..

Let's have the courage to make an optimistic start and I am sure that in 2-3 years time we will not regret the money paid for these appartments

I wish we could all be as enthusiatic and encouraged by MHV. But for the one or two that are happy with their lot there are 25 or so who are not !!!  The developers have done nothing to allay the worries that we have all had. They continue to disassociate themselves from us, they never respond to any letters or email, or telephone calls and they call themselves a good developer with excellent customer service. What a lot of tosh. We all know they have failed to complete this project on time and they constantly lie about why they have not been able to complete on time. We all know the reason why. As to the quality  I along with others do not consider the project to be completed to a high quality. We were all shown the Show house apartments whereupon we were all told from Viva that our apartments would be "like this if not better quality". There is no comparison for example to the ktichen at MHV and the kitchen at El Soto.  Obviously Viva hood winked us into buying at MHV. They worked on behalf of Grupo to promote their site.  Their marketing values have a lot to be desired. When we complained to Viva they blamed Grupo for what the marketing details they gave them. If you speak to anyone at Grupo they are blaming Viva for the same. Someone has to be accountable.  Had we all known the quality of the project and of course how late it was going to be I am sure most of us would not have purchased it. Not only have the developer had our monies for over 2 years but they constantly lie about completion dates as obviously they cannot tell us themselves when we ask because they do not know when they will be finished. They just strung us all along.  They are  now working in the wind and hoping to get the licence sorted to enable them to complete and hand over the keys in April.  Funny how over a year ago when the developer said they would be able to complete on time, their workmen were no-one to be found and now when they are relying on our monies, they appear out of the woodwork and there is a constant stream of workmen on site.

Spoke to the Site Manager and he says that he thinks it will be completed in 2 weeks. l think that may be a slight exaggeration!!. l am hoping it will go over into April as that will increase the compensation money.

Regarding t El Soto l know someone who has been up there and purchased and MHV is in a better position and the apartments in MHV are bigger.

Grupo were going around at the time and doing snagging. That is something that we all need to be very careful about.Having had previous experiences when using a lawyer regarding snagging l will not be using a lawyer to do the snagging this time!!!!!!

Have just landed back from Spain so when l have more time will post the pictures and tell you more about my positive experience at MHV.

All l can say that we need to be positive and having spent a couple of hours up there on Tuesday this week l am feeling a lot happier now than before my visit
