SAT NAV DETAILS

 HI ALL , CAN SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME THE SAT NAV DETAILS FOR CONDADO DE ALHAMA , CHEERS  MEJAZI10

Picked this up a while ago - but haven't tried it yet myself.

Hi

When i put in the co-ordinates 37.43.40N  01.21.56W it bring up a random un-named road behind the M603.

We use an IGO8 sat nav.  The maps on the IGO are late 2010 although there is still no CDA (but it does have the internal roads for La Torre and Mar Menor).

I've programmed the CDA location as the long entrance road (which is on the sat nav) just off the junction/roundabout on the M603.  The co-ordinates for this road are N37°44.752 x W1°22.326.  If you check these co-ordinates on google maps (remove the "x") it should bring up the roundabout on the M603 and the entrance road to CDA.

Hi all,

Just bang in the village name... Vent Aleda or Vent Aledo. Its just the next junction up on the RM23. All Sat/nav's with European maps have it. Great for finding your way back if you've been out exploring.  Be careful to get the correct name as another village exists miles away with a similar name.

Any "MALE" residents on here who can give the correct Village and name of it please.  No offence ladies but we dont wish to end up in Barcelona..

Guess I'm about to find out why satnav has replaced satNAG:)

 You were nearly there Jim 'Venta Aledo' dont try shortening it as Aledo is the small village perched on the side of Sierra de Espuna and its a long way down 

Do you know what the E24 road is like to come across from the M602 (towards Venta de Aledo) and down to CDA?  I'm concious that there a few "iffy" roads that are off the beaten track but this looks like it may be quicker than heading up the 602 and back down to CDA.

I have used this Rd. quite a few times and yes it cuts the "corner off " as you describe I think it's about a 5km saving on the full journey

there are one or two points where it reminds you of home [potholes] but on the whole its OK.

Will give it a go when we're over is a couple of weeks - just didn't want the little 206 hire car to be swallowed up on an unmade road.
