PAINT NUMBERS (FEFERENCE)

HI everybody,

Could someone let me know the numbers of colors for exterior paint?, I have to buy it and I need the exact numbers.

clear yelow and darkest yellow please.

Hi Luis

Unfortunately there is no reference number for the internal and external paints.  The best thing to do is to take a flake of the paint to the paint shop behind Mercandona in Sabinillas.  The guy in the shop will mix some paint to match it exactly.  We have  done it several times and every time it has been a perfect colour match for the external paint (we haven't been as successful with the internal paint though!).

 I have taken off a plastic disk which is on the wall above the front door on the inside of the apartment, its cover the hole for installing an alarm system.

I took the cover to the paint shop on the corner near the post office and we found the exact match for the hall, lounge and bedroom walls.

The match was so good it made painting the walls difficult because you could not see where you were up to!!!

When you put the cover back you just paint over it.

The cream colour in my apartment is code F7 07 85 I thing it was from the ProColor range, 43 euros for 10 litre enough for 1 coat of all the walls in a 2 bedroom apartment. My ceilings are white.

We just took a flake of paint to the shop ihn Sabi, behind Mercadona as mentiond before and they did an absolutely perfect match for us too.

Um.. I must have gone there on the wrong day of the week.

It was Saturday and a young fellow was serving.  He compared the paint to the colour charts, shrugged his shoulders and said that

a perfect match is not possible. 

I bought what I thought to be the nearest match by sight comparison but it the paint turned out to be shade different.

Perhaps I'll try again on a week day.

If somebody knoes the exact exterior paint numbers please let us know.
