At the initial Community Meeting last December, I was asked to get a price for satellite TV for Brits and have passed them on to Gines. I had to wait 6 months to get my aerial on the roof agreed for my Broadband. All TV has to be via the communications channels built in to the building and this is in your Title Deeds I think. This includes air con and tv's so that no balconies are used for housing tv satellite dishes, or air con boxes. The rules of the Community (to be agreed at next meeting) will also specify these regulations, including regulations re pool use as required by Spanish law.
The quote I got was for an initial charge of about 200 each (providing a minimum number subscribed) and then there would no no monthly costs. I get my UK tv via my computer broadband. The roof is full of satellite dishes which are pulling down the Spanish aerials for those who want Spanish TV (like me). Spanish TV has great films every night and absolutely loads of great American series. All you have to do is switch your remote audio to a language other than Spanish and you can watch them in English. I think their TV is much better than UK. But if you want Corrie, East Enders etc Spanish tv no good.
