I have never been happier to go to a dentist, her in Spain. The treatments have been wonderful, pain free and at least 15% less than NHS. Was diffiicult to find an NHS dentist so had to go private in UK. Try using a Dental Plan here if you need a lot of treatment.  I am getting the "new smile treatment" for only 212 euros per crown. Only extra is killing one root nerve at 78 euros. I am also near La Zenia, but in Murcia where we don't seem to get ripped off as Expats. We are welcomed here, so far, especially if we try to speak Spanish!!

There is great confusion as to what our address is. I have been told 3 different addresses by Paco. We don't have any post boxes here yet

Post Office now keeps Correos mail in top drawer of 3-tier filing cabinet.  I have to go down twice a week to check for mail. It is open 8.30-10.30 Mon-Saturday.   Mail is kept for 10-14 days then removed. Don't ask me where it goes, I DON'T KNOW. The address for your postal mail meantime should be the following. You will need identity when collecting mail. I will use a false address as an example

• Edif. La Vereda de Sucina                             (your actual building name) 
• Avda. de la Constitucion # 50
• THEN USE YOUR STAIR, FLOOR AND LETTER OF FLAT       eg A   9    D   (this would be staircase A, floor 9, Flat D)               DO NOT USE YOUR PLOT NUMBERS IN YOUR ADDRESS, these were only to identify your plot in the architect's drawing 
• Sucina 30590,  Murcia Region, Spain

Your individual door entries should not be labelled YET with your name as this identifies who is there   We can discuss this at next AGM.

As for the address you give out for visitors, workmen, THIS IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT TO YOUR POSTAL ADDRESS. You use the street where your door entry is. The postal address is only for the building and there is no actual entry to flats on that Avenida. The name of the building (edif.) should also be used. Do not USE EL MIRADOR DE SUCINA. That name was changed a long time ago.

1st block is in Camino Sanchez (either 1 or 3). Then give people your stair etc. number as above

2nd Block is in: Avda Cristo Resucitado (either 2, 4 or 6)

Find out where your door entry is located, and that is your physical address. Also make sure your door entry works ASAP.

Paco has advised a resident here not to get new locks as they will need access to all properties on the date of handover of the utilities - water and electricity. Please check with your lawyers if this will be the case.  I think we have all paid 150 euros for this handover.

No more, those who had replied to my post here beginning Sept. to go on my private mailing list will have a regular round robbin email and the 1st test email has been sent out. This site gives me far too much work. using the PRIVATE MESSAGES for info I don't want to use publicly.

We have now had 4 robberies in last month, all very similar.

I am taking myself off this Forum as I am under suspicion of one robbery as I was a keyholder. I will give keys back to those who want them returned when I see you next.  I am also finding it very very stressful co-ordinating, translating, and helping people time consuming.

In future would you all please refer to Paco of Golf invest for any help relating to completion of building, community rules, community meetings, advise him of your arrival so lift can be switched on, etc. etc. the kind of things I did for you, or directly to Gines himself.

Any complaints about snagging etc. or problems with your flat, or any robberies if you find one when you next come, should go to Gines's office next door to cafe restaurant.

i will email a list of useful numbers for airport pick ups. air con supplier, handymen,  builder etc. to those who asked to be put on my mailing list.

Someone else can take on the task of finding a communal aerial supplier and co-ordinating reporting of communal snagging problems

The next community meeting will be held at the end of the summer when all commercial units are finished and up and running. Bar opening 1 September.

On the Agenda will be Security issues and this is a major issue at the moment (as it is in many developments when they first start up). I am trying to co-ordinate how we deal with this collectively and if you are an owner, and wish me to do this please send me an email to my private address and I will set up a contact list to let you know what I am organising. I cannot post this information on an OPEN forum like this. Just reply to this posting by sending me a private message to me giving me the following:

Please give me your full names, apt Stair and No. and an email address to use for this. I am getting costs for a specialist "Community" lawyer to represent all those who cannot make the next meeting, and to help me in translation and validity of proposed rules. If we all club together, this should not cost too much.
