Has anyone recently been to Scot'tees bar in Totana. Brother went last summer but sadly wasn't impressed . However I think he may have gone at the wrong time of day as everywhere was deserted and the breeze was blowing up dust and there was tumble weed rolling down the road. Although the bar door was open there was no one to be seen and the interior was dark and gloomy- he said all that was missing was Clint Eastwood strolling out of the haze!  But there are good photo's on Facebook and the crazy golf looks tidy and well laid out. So, does anyone have any recommendations?

Hi Jann, we went twice last week, early-ish (8 PM). Quiet but nice people, including the locals. Pint of San Miguel & glass of wine for 3.40 euros. They have some theme nights where they will arrange a taxi pickup for 1 euro each way which are supposed to be good. Next one is a mediaevil night in the next few weeks (can get dates from local free magazines).

They have staek nightw 2 or 3 times per week which are supposed to be good.

Only a 6 minute drive via the service road before the Mazarron exit on CDA roundabout.

Worth a visit for a chance to see Clint!

We went last October and like your brother Jann we were not impressed in the slightest. The place reminded us of a greasy road side cafe and if it hadn't been for our daughter requiring the toilet we would have turned on our heels and left.  The food we did have was just Ok but i would rather pay more for my food and better surroundings. Needless to say we will not return.

Are we talking of the same bar here.  The only Scot-Tees bar I am aware of is in El Pareton, just prior to Camposol?

We visited a little while ago and have to say although friendly enough we decided not to eat here. It was VERY quiet and the only people in there appeared to be locals at the bar who did'nt move out of the way.

Scotties is actually in El pareton as mentioned and can be busy or not as below you have to go there when it happens?

The food is good and reasonable and also the Crazy Golf is good for kids of all ages?

Every other Saturday (atm) there is a themed BBQ and Every Friday a Quiz (Excellent Fish and Chips)

I suggest if you are going there call 634 103 689 to see whats on then you won't end up alone.

Thanks, I think the address that comes up is Totana but the bar seems to be in El Pareton. Maybe one for us to try ourselves before suggesting it to friends and family on the resort at the moment. Hopefully Clint will be there then and dispel any gloom!

I have been to Scot-tess in El Pareton.  Decor nothing startling, but nice people, good service and according to locals food was good too.  The Ritz it's not, but for a change it's fine.

We have eaten in Scot tees several times.  Food is plentiful, hot, tasty and cheap.  The service is v. good too and the drinks a lot cheaper than Clover prices.  The owners are lovely people, very friendly and willing to please.  Only down side is the decor, which has been upgraded but plastic seats and paper table cloths and last time we went the table was full of dead flies which joined us for dinner as they were not cleared away!  So if you like cheap and cheerful but not fussy about the surroundings it is fine.  Don't think I would go back nor would I recommend it.  Hubby would go back as he is not so fussy and likes the place.  But not for me I'm afraid. He wants Clints autograph anyway.
