Right - we have the keys - now what?????

We took advice from this forum and worked with Pablo the lawyer - he was fantastic.  Everything has been done on e mail (not even spoken to him!!!) and, as we are already living abroad we organised all power of attorney and everything here and took a little trip to Abu Dhabi to go to the Spanish Embassy.  We now, as of Tuesday are the owners in Jardine 8!

So - for all of you who have been there, seen it and done it.........what do you suggest I do now!!!!!  someone has mentioned a snagging company - do you all do that?

I've been in touch with air con company but would love personal recommendations.  Have had a look through this forum and see there are definitely some to avoid!  Would love to know who is highly recommended and some ball park figures too if you don;t mind for a 3 bed installation so I know I'm not being taken to the cleaners on price.

I've also done some research and found I can order some ikea stuff and get a company to order, pick up, deliver and build (am loving the sound of that!) - has anyone else done that?  We are hoping to spend much of the summer in our new place as we leave Dubai to escape the 52 degrees and high humidiity!!!!!  If I can get as much sorted before we arrive it means we can all arrive together and not have to do a set the apartment visit and then come back with the kids for our vacation time.

If there's anything that anyone can warn me of - advise me on etc etc regarding setting the apartment up - I would be eternally grateful.

All that remains is for me to say - I look forward to meeting many of you in person this summer - most especially over a nice cold drink and thanks for the advice I have had so far and for hopefully the advice I will get from this thread!

Glad to hear everything is going to plan so far for you!!  My advise would be get your self a good keyholder and try to get as much done to your apartment before you arrive for your holiday break in the cool sun of Spain LOL!!

If your thinking of PW tv and buying white goods, there is so much you can organise of the internet and telephone shopping for that to be delivered prior to you arriving.

Failing that if it doesn't all get done at once, just open a bottle of wine, sit by the pool with a fellow jardiner and let it happen tomorrow!
