I have just found the site and found all the info great as I am completely new to this.

Might be a silly question but when would you expect to hear from San Jose about things like installation of air conditioning, type of tiles, etc? Our agent had said this would happen but just don't know when to expect it

Which phase have you bought in?  We are in phase 1 and went to the aftersales office in Torrevieja in the summer to choose tiles etc.  They did send us some photos but it was really difficult for me to choose from those!

IN torreviecha they have examples of tiles etc but do yourself a favour go to the site and do it look at the different tiles in situ and then chose them and the extras you recuire

 

Contact Pillar at aftersales and they will contact you straight away and answer and questions you may  have after sales have been fantastic with me spent a whole morning in August helping and advising on extras

Hi and welcome to the forum. 
Kevin is correct you are better going to the site to choose your extras and tiles ect.  However, as you have an agent San Jose will insist that you go through them to place the order  so that the paperwork is correct and there are no holes in the agents records so to speak.  You need to choose these things as soon as is practicably possible and dont wait for your agent to contact you.  Contact them an nag like crazy until you get what you want.

Linda is right about having to go through your agent. I tried to go direct to SJ but they wouldnt let me do that and I'm still waiting after 3 weeks of asking for a price for mine.

I'm also on R10 and getting a bit anxious now....

By the way, we tried to do the ordering of tiles etc on site, but were told this had to be done at Torrevieja with Pilar.  However, if you go round all the show houses and pick from those, I think Siggy listed all the tile names etc for us to take with us.

I got in touch with my agent who was going in to SJ and will get some details to me.

That will help us to pick up when we are next out.
