The last I heard was that it's still going ahead. Now you can see the the structure and the tower, which is good.
The artichect who designed it received an award for his work and the regional governement is backing the project and want it finished by the 2nd quarter of 2011.
But to me it's more likely for the summer of 2011 as even if the airport is finished, they still need to run safety and security tests for if I remember well for 3 to 6 months.
