Have a look at their website now - no mention of CDA being their 'jewel in the crown' .  A much more scaled-down version describing the resort.

I know, it's like we have been disowned.  Nicklaus golf trail website has removed us as well only 3 courses on there now.

"A wide range of services serve the properties". Ha Ha Ha, good one Polaris! Nice to see they still have a sense of humor after all their troubles!

Yes the golf course is no longer on there and neither is the Intercontinental Mar Menor, but the Clover is. There has been some confusion for a while over who ownes the clover, but I suspect its still Polaris, otherwise they would have removed it.

Have you seen all those bars and restaurants, 24 in total!!! WOW!!.... only 2 of them at Condado, yet were are their biggest resort?

I'm pretty sure that Nicklaus Golf Trail is actually  Polaris Company despite  the name, so with the 3 courses going to Olagolf, I guess PW couldn't include then in their trail.

The man himself has it down as Signature designed by himself alone on the Nickalaus design site:-

Cheers, Ian

Ian,

Yes the "Nicklaus Golf Trail" is a Polaris company.

Darren,

No need to suspect or be confused.  Polaris still own Al Kasar as stated on the community website.

Phil

Hi Phil

Is there any way at all someone could ask for a meeting with PW to get the gym re-instated asap and, say, a nice spa in Al Kazar soon too.  That would use us a fair bit of space and I'm sure it would be well used.  Has anyone spoken face-to-face with PW re the Flipsy Flopsies and the level of service?  I am out in July and will be curious to see if the broken (sharp ceramic) door handle leading from the Clover loos into the bar has been fixed.  I reported it in April saying that a child could injure themselves on it.  We'll see.  I have frinds coming over at the start of July and when I gave them my place to stay I told them Condado had a gym and tennis etc.  I feel really embarrassed now.

Hi Arlene,

Polaris no longer own the gym, the entire sports centre was handed to the banks in leu of debts.  We have made enquires into the possibility of taking it over as a community asset, but haven't had a reply as yet.  I would hope that the banks will try and get it going again, but as Polaris removed all the equipment it will require an investment on thier part.

Yep, both verbal and written complaints were made regarding the level of  "customer service" at the clover.  The smoking problem finally got resolved, but only as that was a legal issue.  Unfortunately it's not against the law to employ Flipsy Flopsies

Have you tried reporting the broken handle to Mileniun, there is a repairs form on the community website
