HI

Hate bringing up this subject again, but can anyone tell me if they been successful recently in getting polaris out to do any repairs. I have been waiting since December after getting apartment checked for terrible smell and was assured they would return to fix it, I also have a damp patch in living area waiting to be fixed. I have e mailed customer services several times, but keep being told i need to wait for appointment. Does anyone have an idea as to what i can do next ? Is anyone else in the same situation?

Thanks

Mari

Hi

My son owns top floor apartment on CDA. Last Sept after the heavy rain, leaks were found in the bathroom cieling.

We e mailed many times to tell them we were coming over on 3 occations and we had no responce.

In Marchwe were lucky to see Olga in the sales at CDA and she arrange for workmen to come the next day.

Leaks were fixed and the said they would come back a week later to paint inside cieling and they had the key holders tel no.

My son went to CDA 1May and sent e mails a week before to polaris so they could come and finnish the job,no responce.

He drove to Polaris HQ i think its at Basilicas near airport they sent someone the same day,So emails are a wast of time you need to go to Polaris HQ

Hi DanC,

We had exactly the same problem following the storms (the rains were incredible) in September. Damp became evident the same day as the rainfall affecting a bedroom wall and walls either side of the front door.   Repairs were commenced, but never completed & the damp returned following the next series of heavy rain.  By this time PW were in the finacial mess & not responding to any calls.  Our keyholder informed us though that a small squad of people were still conducting repairs on CdA.  At Easter I too went to Balsacis & manged to get a girl from Customer Services & provided her with upto date pictures.  Within 2 days an appointment had been made to inspect the property & work started almost immediatley.    It's taken a while to get them to come back & finish the decoration, but I can now report it is all finished - and to a good standard.

Of course I will not be sure it is fixed until it lashes it down next September - but remain hopefull.   The moral of the story to anybody who has got oustanding repairs.....don't waste anymore time on calls / e-mails.  Get to Balsacis with photo eveidence of your concern & kick-off in the showroom. To be fair.....I did not need to kick-off, the girl I dealt with, Juani, was first class and was as good has her word.  For once a good news story involving PW CS...!!

Regards

Nick

Mari, I think you'll find that they won't speak to you without an appointment.

When out in April I called to the Polaris HQ at Basilicas only to be told that I had to make an appointment. As if to underline its necessity two security guards were positioned at the reception desk, for what seemed to me, to deal with angry clients. I considered myself lucky to get an appointment the next day, but at that appointment was informed that only leaks and cracking issues would be dealt with. As to my snagging list submitted to Polaris, but never acted on by them.... tough, no chance, no help, clear off.

Good luck in your endeavours.

Hi marit13, we too have had the same problem. Discovered the leak last Oct although we had highlited that we expected there to be a prob if it rained, when we did the snagging.  PW first came out at begining of November and have been working away on and off, ever since to rectify the problem.  We final got word from our key holders this week that the work was completed so fingers crossed.  We've been communicating with customer services through the email address and have to say they have always replied within an hour or so to any of our queries, we've dealt with Fernando.

Hi

Quick update to say that I took one last chance at e mailing polaris on friday and had a reply within 15 minutes asking when I would like an appointment for fixing problems . As I will be over in May they said they could fix things before I arrived or once I was there. I opted for them to come while I was at the apartment. Maybe now that they have sorted out their finances they are in a better position to do repairs.  Good news

Mari
