Coming Over Again In 2 Weeks - Is it a nice place to bring up a family?

Hi guys,

I never knew this Costa Galera thread was here, what a great find.

I along with my Husband and 2 daughters aged nearly 9 and nearly 5 are coming over again for 9 days at the end of April. This will be our third visit to Costa Galera - we love it.

We have been trying to move over now for 2 years but what with jobs and selling the house this hasnt happened YET. Things are starting to move forward now so we are hopeful we will be there soon.

We have met a few people on Costa Galera now and the girls have played with a few of the children on there. When we move over we are looking at renting on there as compared to a lot of the other urbs we have just fallen in love with it.

Any help on what schools would be best in Estepona would be great. We have been into the tourist office and have chatted to them about schools but some first hand advice would be great.

Is it a nice safe friendly place to bring up children? We always feel safe and get a good feel for the place when we are there and everybody seems so friendly.

 Have you noticed there are two forums for Costa Galera  (I don't think they link up), Several people also use the one called Costa Galera Country Club and might miss messages just left on Costa Galera. My development's forum is Galera Park. Justin, who owns this website has a young family so he and his wife can probably advise on local schools. They live in Manilva.

Has anyone been to Galera lately. I'm over this week for few weeks and was wondering how things are there?

I have not been but due to bad tenants and lot of problems with my apt i have been in constant contact with complex.

We have new locks on door from car park to stairs and your key is in reception,  more security for us all..

Lots  of work going on to fix things  and use in PH1 have a new president, Anne-Marie, she gets things done and is a great help, also it looks like there going to sort out non residents using the pools,  not quite sure how but we will know soon.

We have a new pool guy.

Im over on 21st Aug for 5 days, not been since Dec 08..
