Yearly meeting coming up this month

Hi all

is anyone going to yearly meeting,  im away working in Zurich so cant make it,  i hope our monthly bills are due to come down as were getting no where near the service we use too..

Last year Gumer  said he was aiming at saving 10K per month, so hopefully he has..

Sorrry to hear about your tennants, hopefully you will get some more soon.

I cant make the meeting this year so i wont be able to update you. I cant see the charge being lowered this year as i imagine the are still serval properties unsold. Dont know if Labrao are paying there share thats if they have any money? Also dont know if the owners who have never paid any fees have been made to cough up. Doubt it!

Any way on a bighter note we are at our aparment over easter, and the weather forcast is good

So did you enjoy easter, we nearly came over but flights from Zurich were a cool £1000 and that was with Iberia, crazy or what...

I think i might stop paying, charges have to come down, service has all but gone...

I noticed on holiday lettings that a good few apts are rented over summer,  i just happy to get someone in for 6 months, my mortgage drops next month, so rent will nearly cover it...

Still paying off my 3K IBI bill,  mine is now 899 year, joke..

I just want to sell up and get out...

Services i feel have 

1. Security,  they sacked the good guy for feeding the cats, now Albyat workers do it but not 24 hours..

2. Gardening - not as half as good as it was...

3. Charges...Gumer said he could save 10K per month. Will we see a reduction in our charges.

Rob, I can't comment on the security as I don't really know. Have to say I don't agree with you about the gardens. I was in Galera yesterday with a friend of mine who lives in Spain and works in Real Estate. He told me he thought that the gardens were kept very nice compared to a lot of others he sees and I too thought they were looking good. Certainley quite a few gardeners around over the weekend. Would be nice if the comm charge at least didn't increase.

I was over at Easter and had weather was great.

I think the gardens are fine apart from an area near the waterfall on the main pool. Its broken and untidy and needs sorting out.Have e-mailed Gummer so hopefully it will be brought up at at AGM.

Is security is are worse than it used to be? The old guard didn`t seemed to interested in there job. At least we have barriers at the bottom now which must help.

Talking to some residents i hear Labaro are paying their share of community charge so at least it wont be past on to us.They are going to bring the subject up at the AGM so hopefully we might get a reduction.

I thought the old guy did  a good job, i always saw him on his rounds day and night, he always said hello or waved..

Gumer put up security cameras at back on my apt next to me and apt had bars put on doors/windows, not a word from Gumer about it and when i questioned him he said it was due to break ins in La Galera Park,  didnt add up to me, then i found out that apt next door is rented out by CC,  so i think it had a break in.

Look forward to hearing about the AGM meetings and if Labaro and owners have paid up..

That little old boy might have been good at feeding the cats but he was nowhere to be seen when my mum got mugged by 2 blokes getting out of her car about a year ago on the site!!!

Hi all. I'll put my notes on the Galera Park website, so see you over there. Horrible to hear about the mugging. It is a bit of a ghost town round both developments. Great that Labaro are paying their dues. Our developer didn't so real funding crisis. One or two of our owners are trying not to pay  but it is definitely against the law in Spain. Seems it has to be agreed at AGM.
