Golf Course opens December

Got the same email Phil, is Condado part of the Nicklaus golf trail as soon as it opens? I noticed on the same email that they are doing 2 green fees + buggy for €90 for residents for courses on the golf trail.

Have they lost a lake Phil?

I'm sure there were five at the last count.

Yes Barry, I too also  thought there were 5 lakes.  

 There are definitely 5 lakes!  by 4th,6th, 9th (and 18th), 10th/11th and 13th - but the 13th seems to have emptied again, so maybe they are not counting that one! - hope they refill it though - especially as this will be the first hole until they get the clubhouse sorted!

In phoned all the numbers i have for Polaris and Polaris golf and nobody is taking bookings for Condado Golf as they do not have an official opening date yet !

Guess we will have to wait and see !

I heard last week that they're 'hoping' to open on the 1st of December, but I certainly wouldn't take that date as certain.

Apparently the course itself is ready, the delay is due to the temporary clubhouse in Al Kasar not yet being completed.

If thats the reason then someone from Polaris wants shooting as the supermarket has been open for about 4 months so they have had plenty of time to get the temporary clubhouse finished as well.  Its a bit late starting the fit out of the area only a couple of weeks before the course was due to open.

Not good planning - maybe tomorrow Jack, but more like next year!!!!!!!

By my reckoning, and proven by the delay in the opening of the Clover (delayed by approx 4-5 weeks from original date) and our new Restaurants (original opening date begining Oct) also delayed by approx 4-5 weeks, My expectations for the golf course opening will be around the first two weeks in Jan 2010.

Happily this coincides with my next visit, so I could still possibly be one of the first to play Condado !!!.
