Hi everyone, what a useful site

Played the back 9 only (there just before they opened up the other 9, sadly).  We played off the back tees (usually reserved for 4 handicap or below, we were told).  I play off 7 - not a big hitter but steady.  Course was a reasonable challenge off those tees - any further forward and it would probably have been a tad too easy for single-figure golfers, I felt.  Lovely fairways.  Greens were stupendous (in size and quality), and that's probably where the biggest challenge comes.  Huge bunkers should be re-named 'beaches'.  Excellent course for mixed ability groups, I'd have said.  Assume front 9 will be similar quality.  Hope this helps.

I played the full 18 in early January. Very clever design and some good challenges. I play off 10 and found the greens fast and difficult. 2 or three holes give you a challenge to carry the water or bail out safely. On  most of the holes the buildings do not come into play. But I had one good duck hook and oops. sorry. Luckily it bounced back off a wall.

Generally an excellent resort course. Enough of a challenge but not too difficult. Greens good and in 12 months it will be excellent.

Thanks for your comments, sounds like it will be a harder challenge for me playing off 22, so keep your shutters down on your windows when im on the course!

Im looking forward to playing out there, its a lot shorter than my home course so I might find it a bit easier.
