Hi Jasper, sorry for the confusion I have just realised which board you were from. I visited Murcia last week. I visited a lot of the Polaris sites and stayed on Mar Menor. I have not been out before so maybe I can give you a fresh perspective. We stayed on Mar menor 2 in the intercontinental. Mar Menor is a lovely complex and the hotel outstanding. It was very quiet still, which I found strange for August. I believe from an owner...she currently rents for about £500 a week. I would not choose to stay here if I had a choice between La Torre and Mar Menor. La Torre in my opinion wins hands down. La Torre has a very upmarket feel about it. The club house and restaurant are beautiful. There are still builders on site but they are now putting finishing touches in..ie..painting the outside of building,,,general cleaning up and finishing touches to the golf course. I decided not to purchase here only for one reason and that was when I viewed the apartments the balcony was overlooked from both sides, had this not been so then I wouldn't have hesitated. I am a travel agent and would happily recommend the property to my customers.
The security on the site was very good. We were checked in and out. It would appear a lot of people were moving in having just received keys and there were people using the club house.
If I had purchased here off plan a few years ago I would be more than happy with my purchase.
