General Update

Hi all

I wondered who has visited Balcones this summer and what your feelings where?

Regarding the general site, the street lighting, the pool and maintainence.

Do you think the community centre will ever be finished, will we always be concerned about letting our property?

It would be nice to have some feed back, and others thoughts?

Saying all the above if a few issues could be sorted, It will be a brilliant place to chill out and a very good base, if only we had a few facilities.

well, we have just returned from a 2 week holiday at balcones and i must say we have had the most chilled, relaxed time ever and i love the place more and more every time we go.

i think the site is being maintained well. the gardeners came both tuesdays we were there, the pool is lovely and clean and was lit up throughout most of the night.  

i agree it will be even better when we have the commercial centre up and running but in saying that the village offers all your basic needs in the way of shops and manolo's and horacio's bar are great for beer and tapas.

we had  some great days out ,at  the aquaola water park, watched flamenco dancing in granada, saw the sun set from salobrena beach and  have ski-ing to look forward to in feb!  i just think the area has so much to offer.

friends of ours were there with us renting a 2 bed house and were so impressed with the place they are looking into possibly buying.

we have also got a 2 week booking in sept so will let you know feedback from that.
