A friend of mine at La Entrada who is working to improve the local environment for us all by chasing the Council up about the lights that do not work and dog mess on the streets for example. He is also trying to get Gomendio to create a safe play area for our children just outside the complexes, swings, slides and so on.
When we met in June to discuss the above he informed me that some of his Community were very unhappy with the cost of their Administrator. Many Spanish residents were saying that his charges were very excessive and we in fact have the same Administrator. I asked him to keep me informed when he had something.
When he came back to me last week it appears that against normal market rates they were paying double and can achieve a potential saving of 12,400€ per year. This is a great deal of money in these tought times. I suggest we get on to our Committee to follow this up.
