HI Everybody

Hope you are all reading this, thing have gone really quiet on here, and we feel it would be good if we all get together as a community, to promote a smooth running of Terrazas Del Golf.

There are not many of us, but there has been lots of problems and we are sure there will be many more in the future, especially as there are so few apartments sold.

During the time Pauline & Trevor have been living in their apartment they have rersolved many issues, perhaps more than people realise but we feel the burden of responsiblities should be shared.

Any suggestions or comments?

Lucy & Richard

Hi All

We were really disappointed with the response to purchasing the sunbeds. As well as everyone having the use of them it would have made the pool area look more appealing to potential buyers also for people who want to let their apartments but it looks like we will be dragging our own sunbeds back and too from our apartment again this summer!

I agree with you both about Trevor & Pauline they do alot around the developement  .When we were over last month you could see the difference immediately in our portal as it was spotlessly clean and smelt fresh as soon as you walked through the door they also have been a great help to Mark and myself.

We should all bear in mind as owners we own the apartments and the complex and we should all make an effort to keep the place looking clean and tidy.

We hope to get the key to the communal room next time we're over and get all the muck and cement off the windows as it looks really bad everytime you walk past it

speak to you again soon

Sian

 Hi Sian,

We agree with you, we were disappointed that people were not keen to contribute to sunbeds at the pool area. Like you, we feel that sunbeds would enhance the look of the area and be very nice for owners and potential tenants to use. We have suggested to Pauline that this issue is included in items to be raised at the next AGM in September, with the suggestion that Alhambra pay for them out of our Community Fund.

The sunbeds need not be expensive. Just ordinary plastic ones could be bought, then people could bring their own towels or mattresses down to put on them. The sunbeds could be kept and stored at the pool area.

Does anyone else have comments on this?

Alison.

Hi all,

Not sure on the communal sunbeds, as we feel that these would be mainly used by rented guests rather than owners who would most likely already have their own beds?

On the subject of the upcoming AGM, could anyone interested in putting thier views across please drop me an email to chris@bluecatmail.co.uk - I would appreciate speaking to as many members of the community as possible before the end of this week to try and get a list of queries together as I am aware that some of you only use this site for updates.

Apparently, the deadline for this is 5th August.

Speak soon

Cheers

Chris

Hi Pauline and everyone,

I am certainly not trying to undermine you. I was posting on here to try and be helpful and make sure everyone could have their views put forward at the meeting. It seems that whatever i try to do to help is taken the wrong way. I am not here to cause trouble, we all want a successful community.

By doing this do not feel i was undermining you. If lots of people have similar issues then it makes sense they are all put forward together. I have seen your email that has been sent out to the community, I would appreciate it if you would forward this to them all as I feel that you have given a misleading impression of me, I was only trying to be helpful.

Thanks to those  that have emailed, its good to see you understand my intentions.

chris you may have good intentions but i have sent emails out over the past weeks about the AGM meeting  and i do think that i am able to do this small task myself .it is the position of the president and vice president do undertake this  task but if you do really want to get elected  next month please do not let me stop you if these position´s  mean so much to you to have the power to look after Terrazas.

I spent 15 working years working for Boots the Chemist was HR  and in charge of the cash office in charge of thousands of pounds plus paying accounts so i think i can manage this job if a multi million pound company can trust me i think so can Terrazas

I really dont know what to say to you. I had decided late last night to cut my losses and not get involved in anything further with this and just stick to looking after my own personal interests and await the AGM, but another attack is launched on me.

I have stated time and time again that I am personally VERY pleased with your and Trevor's work - along with the rest of my family. If you looked at the facts, you would understand that at no time has the quality of your work been questioned. I really cannot understand why you take everything so personally all of a sudden.

I am not interested in any "power". I dont think that any member of the the committee should feel they have "power" as that could be dangerous for the community. Mr Drew has also been using the word "power" in his aggressive emails to myself, which is concerning. I cannot understand where this is coming from.

I am not in a position to be an effective member of the committee, so have no desire to be on the committee. My intentions are to make sure everything is done to make the community a success.

On that topic, however, I was asked by yourself and Trevor, face to face, in May/June "would you consider being president or vice president"? You stated that Mr Drew was going to resign, and you did not want the responsibility so needed someone to take over the roles. I said at the time, it was not feasible as I was not onsite enough. A week or so later, I emailed you and said that although I did not feel it was fair for me to be on the committee, I would happily look after aspects to help you out - such as the development of a committee/community website. These offers to help on various matters have been rejected time and time again by yourself and Mr Drew.

I cannot win here, and to be honest, I cannot be bothered with the stress of this school yard mentality. The worry that I have is that this aggression towards me has only begun since I started to ask questions of how various aspects of the committee/contracts have been set up.

This really isnt the place for this discussion anyway, its obviously a personal issue you have against myself and therefore should be dealt with privately.

Hi all

Just letting anyone know who maybe storing their sunbeds or chairs in the store room by the pool toilets that they might want to put some sort of lock on them as family who were at our apartment recently went down to the pool only to find some people using our beds. After handing them back one of the beds had been torn .

Personally i would never take or use anything that didn't belong to me

looking forward to going back soon

Sian
