The penthouse gardens and grassed pool play areas have not been cut for 5 weeks. I have told Alex at RPM but he is just holding the fort while Victoria is sick.

This is one area where the community needs to make sure we have enough staff. It should look tidy and smart whenever anyone comes out or it will just look a run down resort and not the premier facilities we were promised in the glossy brochures.

I hope cuts in the fees are not at the expense of garden and plant maintenance.

I also reported an ants nest in a neighbours garden  with a 20yd trail of ants across the path and was rold it was probably because of the weather! So I had to explain to him what needed doing to remove them. This was not in my apt but I dont think the absent owner would be too pleased to find his garden overun!

When we were over at Easter, the communal Jardines had been cut but the grassy areas which are part of the ground floor terraces had not been. The grass was'nt particularly long at that point but I was'nt particularly happy considering how much we pay for service charges!

I am over again in about a week so will be taking this up with RPM if it happens again.

When we were over at Easter I was really disappointed  with the state of the tiles on the stairs and walkways of the Penthouses. They were dirty, and covered with cement. I did see them being cleaned at one point, but it didn't make a lot of difference really. They need a really high pwer clean with something that'll shift all the cement. Also, the big tree at the bottom of the stairs had been allowed to die.

It'll be embarrasing to bring friends and relatives as this will be the first thing they see before the great apartments and fantastic views!!

I'm over next week, and if there's no improvement, I'll certainly be on to RPM when I get back.

Are you in block 11 as the plant at the bottom of those stairs was certainly dead over Easter. There is a completely broken tile on the very top staircase as well. If you report it when you are over i'll follow up on our next visit.

No we're in Block 2, but I spoke to Ali (Block 10) over Easter and she said that the plant in Block 10 was dead too. Looks like this may be the case in all the penthouses. What a shame and a complete waste of money and time planting them!!!  Are the tiles in your block dirty too?

Maybe if we all made a fuss.....
